Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Relevant certifications that support the role.
- Proficient in industry-standard software and tools; experience with email delivery platforms such as HubSpot, MailChimp, CheetahMail, or Exact Target is preferred.
- Skilled in Photoshop and HTML; familiarity with other design and web development tools is a plus.
- Exceptional command of written English, with the ability to craft compelling marketing copy for web, email, and promotional materials.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Proficient in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Competent in calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting and creating bar graphs.
- Skilled in problem identification, data collection, fact establishment, and drawing accurate conclusions.
- Capable of interpreting a range of technical instructions, including mathematical and diagrammatic forms, and managing both abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to analyze web statistics and usage patterns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated expertise in marketing, including creating and managing targeted email campaigns.
- Ability to showcase graphic design and copywriting samples for review.
- Understanding of consumer behavior, member segmentation, and the financial industry, with experience in developing and evaluating web and email promotions.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in tracking, monitoring, and evaluating website trends and statistics, with the capability to make informed recommendations to senior management.
- Knowledge of applicable email marketing laws and regulations is preferred.
- Contribute proactively to large projects, offering constructive insights and driving improvements towards project goals.
